A free Wi-Fi connection is available at Tenerife South Airport, which might help to save you some money. In order to access this, you will need to connect your device to the airport network.
You can access the service via one of the following options:
Step 1: In your Wi-Fi settings menu select “Airport Free Wifi AENA”
Step 2: Type the following address into your browser: freewifi.aena.es
Step 3: Wait for the welcome page to open and access the service via your email address, your Facebook or LinkedIn account, or your Aena Club Cliente username.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, then read and accept the terms and conditions.
The AENA WiFi is free of charge and does not have any time limitations.
The download speed of the free WiFi connection is approximately 2Mbps. This will be sufficient for web browsing, emails and social media but may not be enough to stream a movie.

If you are spending your time in the VIP-lounge, you can connect to the lounge’s Wi-Fi service. In your Wi-Fi settings, select the network “Sala VIP Montaña Roja”. This is the best Wi-Fi service available at the airport, as it is part of the VIP service.
In Spain and Spanish territories such as Tenerife, free Wi-Fi access is available in many establishments. If you are staying in a hotel, you will often be given a Wi-Fi password when you check in. Free Wi-Fi can also be found in many bars and cafes on the island.
It is worth keeping in mind that the use of public Wi-Fi can carry an increased risk of hackers gaining access to your personal information, so you will need to ensure that you have the right security settings on your phone or tablet before you log in.
