Important Tenerife South Departures Information
Entry/Exit-System (EES)
New border control procedures are on the horizon at Tenerife South Airport, however, these have not yet gone live. See here for more information about the Entry/Exit-System.
When to arrive at the airport
For domestic flights within Spain, it is generally recommended to arrive at the airport at least 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. However, for international flights, especially during peak travel seasons or when additional security measures are in place, it is advisable to arrive at Tenerife South Airport at least 2 to 3 hours in advance.
Terminal building opening times
- Every day from 4 am to 11 pm.
- Between the hours of 11 pm and 4 am, only staff and passengers who are arriving for an early flight will have access to the terminal building.
Disability Assistance
Tenerife South Airport is fully wheelchair accessible. An assistance service is available for passengers who require help due to a mobility impairment or other disability. This must be booked in advance. Further information can be found on our Disability Assistance page.
Smoking
